| Abstract | The last representative mangrove part from the eastern edge of Guanabara bay, the mangrove's lancover have been reduced causing an geomorphologic instability, ecologic balance and antropologic effects. The remanescent area of mangrove carries out an important position for quality of water and of Guanabara bay's life. It's current environmental condition requires serious attention, so that in the future, it's objective can be preserved. These work aims demonstrate the importance of geomorphologic vision in dynamic studies of the mangrove situated on eastern edge of Guanabara bay. Currently they are restricted to Guapimirim Environment Protection Area. |
